Traveling Fatima and Sacred Heart Statues at IHM
We have resumed the visitation of homes in the Parish with the IHM traveling (Pilgrim Virgin) statue of Our Lady of Fatima. This Fatima statue, a reminder of Our Blessed Mother’s presence among us, visits different homes in the parish on a biweekly basis. Each household is invited to pray daily for your intentions. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.
Also, the Sacred Heart of Jesus statue is resuming its travels to homes with the express purpose of praying for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life. We need more religious vocations so much.
The IHM Legion of Mary sponsors the statues and will arrange to bring one to your home.
We respect your personal preferences, if requested, for masking and social distancing.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Who We Are
The IHM Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a volunteer organization that provides financial assistance, counsel, and support to individuals and families experiencing unexpected crises, primarily in Andorra, Roxborough, Manayunk, and other nearby neighborhoods.
How We Are Funded
Funds used by the Society come primarily from your donations to the IHM Poor Box and to our Annual Appeal via a church envelope. Because we are volunteers, all funds go directly toward assisting those in need.
How We Help
We provide compassionate services to families and individuals both Catholic and non-Catholic, struggling with financial difficulties or in need of guidance and spiritual help. We have paid bills for rent, utilities, medical expenses, car repairs, and more. We have referred many to local counseling, food banks, and social services.
Learn About Us
Learn more about this world-wide organization at www.svdp-phila.org. Then consider joining us in this worthwhile mission. Our meeting dates are listed in the IHM bulletin. You will find you are blessed with hidden talents, and you will gain more than you give.
Is Someone You Know in Need?
If you know of someone in need, encourage them to call 215-483-1000 (the IHM Rectory) and ask for the SVDP HelpLine where they can leave a message with their call-back information. Someone from our Society will contact them. Everything will be handled confidentially.
Our scheduled upcoming meetings are:
October 7 & 28, November 18 and December 9 & 30
