Job Opening: Parish Business Manager, Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Philadelphia

Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in the Andorra section of Philadelphia has a full time opening for a Parish Business Manager. The Business   Manager serves in a key management position in the parish and together with the Pastor and the School Principal forms the core leadership team of the parish. Proficiency and experience with QuickBooks is essential.

Essential Qualifications:

Ability to work with staff and volunteers
Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Quick Books

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains the accuracy of all financial files and records and establishes a responsible cash flow management and record keeping system.

Prepares, administers and reviews budget processes in collaboration with the Pastor, Finance Committee and the School Principal

Monitor the collection, counting, recording and depositing of parish revenue

Produces payroll for the parish and the school

Liaison between the parish and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in all financial matters

Reconcile all accounts in QuickBooks in a timely matter

Accounting for all financial activity

Monitors spending and reviews parish and school budgets

Assists the Pastor with hiring of new staff members.

Maintains employee files

Attends Financial Council meetings

Benefit coordinator

Other duties as assigned.

The Business Manager reports to the Pastor.

Visiting Angels is currently looking to employ experienced caregivers, full-time/part-time, to provide in-home care for our seniors., starting at a four-hour minimum.
